How we protect your data
Agree-Rent is built around transparency between landlords and tenants — and that extends to how we handle your information. Here is what we do to keep it safe.
Encryption in transit & at rest
All traffic is served over HTTPS, and your data is stored on managed infrastructure with encryption at rest. Sensitive credentials never live in client code.
Role-based access control
Landlords and tenants only see the properties, leases and documents that belong to them. Roles are assigned by the system and cannot be self-granted or escalated.
Row-level data isolation
Every record is protected by database row-level security policies. The database itself enforces who can read or change each row — not just the app.
Minimal data sharing
Personal contact details are shared only where a workflow requires it — for example, a landlord sees an invited tenant's email because they sent the invitation, and referral contacts are shared so a landlord can follow up on a recommendation.
Your data, your control
You can review and update your profile information at any time. To request export or deletion of your personal data, contact us and we will action it promptly.
